The Scott County Humane Society's adoption events are designed to connect homeless animals with loving families while promoting responsible pet ownership throughout our community. These events provide an opportunity for potential adopters to meet adoptable dogs and cats in a welcoming, family-friendly environment and learn more about each animal's personality, needs, and history.

Held at various locations throughout Scott County and surrounding areas, adoption events showcase pets that have been rescued, medically evaluated, vaccinated, and prepared for their forever homes. Volunteers and foster families are available to answer questions, share information about the animals, and help match pets with families whose lifestyles and expectations align with the animals' needs.
