Scoop Of Pet Food

Pet Food Bank

The Scott County Humane Society's Pets Eat Too (P.E.T.) Food Bank Program provides temporary assistance to Scott County residents who are experiencing financial hardship and need help feeding their beloved pets. The program offers free dog and cat food to qualifying families, ensuring that companion animals continue to receive proper nutrition during difficult times.

Pets are cherished members of the family, and many individuals and families face the heartbreaking possibility of surrendering a pet due to financial challenges. The P.E.T. Food Bank helps bridge that gap by providing pet food assistance when it is needed most. By easing the burden of pet care expenses, the program enables families to keep their dogs and cats in the loving homes where they belong.

In addition to helping individual pet owners, the P.E.T. Food Bank plays an important role in reducing the number of homeless and surrendered animals in Scott County. By supporting responsible pet ownership and preventing unnecessary relinquishments, the program helps strengthen the bond between people and their pets while promoting a more humane community for animals. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners, Pets Eat Too continues to provide hope and support to both pets and the people who love them.

P.E.T. FOOD BANK IS OPEN ON THE 2ND AND 4TH FRIDAYS OF THE MONTH FROM NOON TO 5:30PM
